Rental Terms And Conditions
RENTER & DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
1. All drivers must be minimum 25 years of age at time of rental, and possess valid
drivers' license. Valid international drivers’ licenses are accepted.
2. Renter must have major credit card and picture identification.
3. Renter authorizes Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals to obtain a credit report, if necessary, at renter’s cost.
4. Renter must be present at time of pick up.
5. Renter's identification name must match name on credit card being used to pay for
rental.
6. Additional drivers are allowed but must present their own insurance to cover the RV while driving. An additional $20 fee applies.
Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals reserves the right to deny service to anyone for any reason.
VEHICLE
1. The reservation confirms rental dates, times, and a general vehicle type. The reservation does not reserve a specific vehicle, size, type, color, floor plan or model year.
2. Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals reserves the right to fill reservations within the category reserved, and may substitute upgraded coaches if necessary.
RATES
1. Rates are subject to change without notice.
2. Rate days are for nights of rental, not days.
PAYMENTS
1. A $500-$1000 rental prepayment is required to secure the reservation, and must be submitted with the Reservation Application. Checks, Visa/MasterCard or PayPal are accepted. Although not limited to these items, common deductions from the security deposit are; damage to the RV, additional mileage, additional generator hours, dumping of the waste tanks, parking violations, etc.
2. Full payment is due 15 days prior to departure. Reservations made within 15 days require immediate payment.
RENTAL DAY
1. Rental is based on number of nights the motor home is used. Each night constitutes a rental day.
2. Rental charges are based on rates in effect at pick-up and return dates.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
1. A $500 to $3000 security deposit is required before departure. This deposit covers all damage to the rented motor home while the renter is responsible for it . It also covers payment of traffic tickets or other fines incurred by the renter. The deposit, or unused portion thereof is refundable within 14 days of the rental completion.
2. The Rental Contact is subject to a security deposit and is due with the Rental Contract payment.
3. The security deposit must be made with a VISA or MASTERCARD.
CANCELLATION POLICY
1. Reservation cancellations over 21 days before departure are subject to $200 cancellation fee.
2. Reservation cancellations 14 days before departure are subject to $500 cancellation fee.
3. Cancellation charges will be taken from any renters’ funds available: prepayments or security deposit.
4. We understand there are good reasons for cancellations, we will allow you up to 12 months to rebook a reservation and use your cancellation fees charged.
5.There is no fee to reschedule your vacation barring availability of same class RV.
INSURANCE
Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals carries no insurance for renters on the RV.
1. The renter is required to provide liability and collision insurance coverage.
2. Additional insurances are available, and can be purchased at the time Rental Contract is determined. If you are unable to provide insurance it can be provided by MBA Choice, viewed at www.mbachoice.com.
RESTRICTED AREAS
1. Restricted areas include, but are not limited to: Death Valley, Dalton or Dempster Highways in Canada, New York City, Apache Trail, AZ, and the Burning Man event held near Reno, as well as the country of Mexico.
2. Non-public roads.
3. Unpaved, dirt roads and "off-road" areas.
4. All desert areas during hot periods. During these periods, many areas are not habitable and could pose a danger to humans. Consult Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals for a complete list of restricted areas.
5. Renter is liable for all damages to vehicle, tires, towing charges and other expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in these areas.
BUSINESS HOURS
We are open to view RVs by appointment only. Please call ahead for viewing, we can accommodate your schedule just give us a call.
PICK-UP AND RETURN
1. Pick-up is between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Saturday pickup times are between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
2. Return is 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday through Friday, and 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday.
3. Other pick-up or return times can be arranged. A fee may be charged.
4. There are no refunds for early returns.
5. A $50/hour late fee applies to all returns.

RESCHEDULING POLICY
1. The renter may reschedule the rental once free of charge.
2. Thereafter, reschedules area allowed only as availability of coaches permits and there is a $50 reschedule fee after the first reschedule.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER CHARGE IS $20.00 PER WEEK.
PREARATION FEE OF $95 IS CHARGED ON ALL RENTALS.
SANITATION CHARGE
1. Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals will dump tanks and flush lines when motor home is returned for a fee of $75.00 This is done at the sole discretion of Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals if this service is needed.
2. There is no sanitation fee if the renter performs these services.
CLEANING THE RV
1. A minimum cleaning fee of $159 is in effect for each coach. Coaches requiring special cleaning may be subject to additional charges.
2. Renters are required to bring the RV back in a clean condition.
3. Cleaning charges are for interior and exterior cleaning only. It does not cover any repairs.
4. Coaches requiring special cleaning, e.g. fumigation, undercarriage pressure washing, etc. may be subject to charges in excess of $500. This fee is at the sole discretion of Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals.
PICK-UP AND DELIVERY CHARGES
1. The motor home can be delivered and picked-up from any location the renter chooses (like their home, race track, etc). Check with your rental advisor for delivery/ pickup notes.
2. The renter, driver, and/or passengers can be picked-up or delivered before and after the rental. The charge is $75 each way, up to 50 miles traveled.
3. Airport pick-up and drop-off is available at Palm Springs International Airport during normal business hours for a fee of $25. After hours, special arrangements can be made for a fee. Ask your representative for more info.
MILEAGE
1. 700 free miles are allowed with each week rental. 300 free miles are allowed with each 3 day rental.
2. Additional miles are charged based on a graduated scale:
a. Charges range from $0.35 per mile to $1.65 per mile
3. There is no refund for unused miles
FUEL
1. No warranties are made regarding fuel tank capacity or fuel mileage We assume no liability for fuel consumption rates.
2. All gasoline, diesel or propane refueling during the trip is at customer’s expense.
3. Unit will be delivered to renter with all tanks FULL at pick-up.
4. Refueling fees apply if vehicle is returned with less than a Full Tank.
MAINTENANCE AND BREAKDOWN RESPONSIBILITY
1. The customer is responsible for checking the engine oil, fluids, and coolant levels at each refueling, as well as reporting mechanical failures immediately.
2. Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals will give instructions and procedures for maintenance at time of rental.
3. Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals is not liable for renter’s expenses due to unforeseen breakdowns beyond Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals' control.
4. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. In the event the vehicle is in breakdown repair for 12 hours or more, through no fault of the customer, our responsibility to customer is limited to refund of daily rate or portion thereof.
5. Radio, automatic step, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave and appliances, cruise control, and generator malfunctions are not considered breakdowns and no refunds are available for repair time to these items.
ONE WAY RENTALS
At this time Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals does not provide One Way rentals.
GENERATOR
1. Most of our units are equipped with 120VAC generators, cost is $6.95 per hour depending on unit. 3 hours a day included on most rentals.
SMOKERS OR PETS
1. There is a $500 fumigation fee for rentals having evidence of smokers. This charge is at the sole discretion of Event Motorhome Rentals/Joes RV Rentals.
2. We enforce a strict NO SMOKING policy.
3. Pets must be discussed with a Event Motorhome Rentals representative in advance. We offer a few ‘Pet Friendly’ vehicles. Extra fees apply.
TOWING
1. Towing is NOT ALLOWED. Exceptions can be made on an individual basis.
